Guitar Lyric E7 Chord
Here is a melody you can sing to make your study of the E7 Chord and A Chord more enjoyable.

So to make the basic chord of E7 a bit more interesting you could try singing "Chopin Wrote The Tune". It fits the chords quite well. It's from his Study in E major, Op 10 (although our tune is in A major). To be played fairly slowly with expression.
As an alternative you can play the melody on guitar as you sing.
Note, it's the words that are copyrighted, not the melody.
In the line where it shows the chord symbols E7 and A, a slash means you strum the previous chord again.
The fret positions of course are not chords, but each shows a single string to be played, and serves as a guide if you wish to play the melody line. Any note which is just an open string is marked "o".
Not every note on the sheet music has a fret position. Where a note is repeated its fret position is shown once only. Therefore, as there are eight different notes in the melody, there are eight fret diagrams.
